Winter

Curling is the mainstay of the club during winter. Contact Tracey at 756-8755 in September or October to sign up for Women on Wednesday, Men on Thursday or the Friday night mixed fun league. In addition to league curling there are several bonspeils too.

Once the temperature dips below freezing for good, our volunteer fire department floods the Olympic sized hockey rink for recreation games and general skating.

2009/2010 marks the first year of the Toboggan slide. It's located next to the ball diamond and the club is erecting a warm-up shelter. ...

Summer

The action swings over to the ball diamond, starting the season off with the Mixed Baseball Tournament and Social each May Long Weekend

Besides baseball there is the Fish Fry in June and October as well as the annual Summer Winds Family Music Festival each July

The Sports club directly and indirectly supports a plethora of events within the community. Annual events, include:

  1. Several Bonspeil (Ladies, Men's, Family Birchwood, Firemen's and Funspeil)
  2. Fish Fry's (Spring & Fall)
  3. Socials (Baseball, Halloween Dance, Fireman's ball)
  4. Art and Craft Sales
  5. Merry Maker's Rummage Sale
  6. Beaches Drama club
  7. and of course the Summer Winds Family Music Festival
